+ About Joshua Mangels

My earliest memories growing up in Seattle, WA were being with my parents and grandparents in our little Pentecostal Holiness Church. Church was about God and family; the entire family ate Sunday dinner together after service. Growing up in Christian School gave me a get Bible-based education while serving to give me great examples in men and women of faith whose lives had been transformed. Growing up in South Seattle as a teenager, I saw great spiritual and social need. I felt the call of God on my life to Evangelize and began aggressively sharing the Gospel of Christ in my High School and teaching in the youth group. In this Evangelistic effort I met Teresa who would become my wife.

I along with my wife Teresa started off working in youth and inner city ministry/church planting in Seattle, Washington and San Antonio, TX. I served as Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor in Seattle and in Tucson, Arizona respectively. While studying church history, I began studying the Church Fathers and felt a draw to Sacramental theology and historic Christianity. After much prayer and thought, my wife and I sought full communion in the Byzantine Rite of the Roman Catholic Church. My wife and I have a passion for sharing the saving and healing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with every person. Both of us have a great desire to see marriages and families nurtured and encouraged in Christ.
